Story opening: ( tune: If you're happy)

     If you're ready for the story "clap your hands"

     If you're ready for the story" clap your hands"

    If you're ready for the story 

     Please be sitting nicely and quietly

     If you're ready for the story 

     Say " I'm ready"



Today I'm going to tell you a story about a little boy and " The~~~~ Squeaky ~~~~~Door~~~~
"   


I'll need your~~~~ help with some sound effects and motions in this story.

1.Each time after I say ," The door closed,"  help me by saying,"Sssssqueeeeeeeeeeeeeak!"............"

And make a solw motion with your hand to close the door at the same time.





2. After the door closed, help me by putting your hands near your ears and shouting," Waaaaaaaaaaaa........"

    Please make soft screming sound, you don't want to hurt somebody's ears, do you?


3. Each time when grandma heard the boy screaming she went up the stairs.
    Let's tap our legs together.
   
4. After I say," the dog went....." 

    Let's mimic the dog together and make " woof, woof" sound.

   Can you do it? Try~~~  " The dog went.................

5. I also need your help with the cat meowing sound.





6. Can you do with the pig sound, " Onik! Onik!"

7. The last one is the horse neighing sound.  The horses go " Neigh~~~~~~~~~~~~"

Story time:

Once upon a time~~~~
Little boy went to Grandma's house.
Grandma said," You'll sleep in the big bed. All by yourself"
" Will you be scared?"
Little boy said," No, not Me!"

So grandma tucked the boy in.
She kissed the boy goodnight.
" Now, when I go out and close the door.............
Will you be scared?"
"No, not Me!"

So Grandma tiptoed out.

She turned off the light....Click"
She colsed the door.....
"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAK!"


The boy began to cry, " WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Grandma went up the stairs


Grandma said, " Oh no! Were you scared?"
Little boy said," No.....not me."
"Hmmmm. I think you were scared. 
Do you want to sleep with the cat?"
" YES! YES! YES!"

Grandma kissed the cat goodnight. " Smnch!"
She kissed the boy goodnight. " Smnch!"
" Will you be Scared?"
"No, Not me!!" (只比動作邀請學生說)
Grandma tiptoed out.
She turned off the light........" Click"
She closed the door.........
"Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak!"
Boy began to cry! 
" WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Cat began to meow!
" Meowwwwwwwww!"
一直重複以上句子
小朋友們喜歡自己熟悉的東西
說故事實如小朋友們已熟悉的句型儘量要求他們一起互動效果非常好



今年四月參加麥當勞奶奶的故事巡迴中學到這個故事
當時他是第一次只用動作和大家互動說完故事
第二次邀請台下老師一起上台互動當時老師很多因而他請了複數的動物
三隻狗,十隻羊啦>>>>>效果很棒
但面對幼兒我第一次加了道具的幫忙
第二次每種動物我只邀請一位小朋友(怕場面混亂囉!!)
我加入了第三次:自製大書
還是那句話幼兒喜歡重複性高的東西
同樣一個故事同樣講三次
但用不同樣的方式呈現就有不同樣的效果
如同課堂中同樣單元的單字句型同樣教三次
用不同樣的方式呈現就有不同樣的效果呈現



第二次可讓小朋友們再重複練習句子.........

雖然同一個故事已說了兩次
但拿出自製大書小朋友們還是非常專注的聽喔!!


當然囉!!現場約有六七十位學生一定會有幾個不專心的
更何況那是"下課時間" 有些寶寶都想回家了
但只要不影響故事進行,好脾氣、有容忍度、愛心、耐心又專業的Christine是能接受的



第三次 ~~~就屬 Production部分囉


簡單翻翻書~~做做動作~~很多學生都已能說出故事的基本架構了
如"Will you be scared?!
"No, not me."
So grandma tiptoe out.................................

The boy began to cry
The cat began to meow..........
