過年前的最後一堂課,應學生要求再上一次他們的最愛"COOKING LESSON"
Flora準備所有材料我當然我就坐享其成囉~這當然不是我的作風囉!
先上網找尋所有Dumpling recipe,沒想到收穫最多的竟是我自己意外的找到許多實用的烹飪食譜。
國外的網站上的recipe較複雜,建議老師們須依照學生之程度稍加修改
  
Kitchen Rules (參考東西圖書cooking book) 

1.       Before you start, roll up your sleeves 
and put on an apron. Then wash your hands.

2.      Get out everything you will need for a recipe before you start cooking.
 
水餃皮 ( flour dumpling wraps)    
 
Stir fry the cabbage and green onions with  some soy sauce and salt/ pepper to taste.
3.      Clear up as you work. Wipe up any spills straight away.
4.      When you have finished, remember to wash up.
5.      Ask an adult to help when: cutting and slicing, weighing and measuring and using the oven.


 How to make dumlings

(修改至網路資料,大部分的資料都從水餃皮做起但在台灣水餃皮隨處都買得到)

1.水餃皮 ( flour dumpling wraps)       

2.高麗菜 (shredded cabbages)

3.蔥 ( chopped green onions)

4. Stir fry the cabbage and green onions with  some soy sauce and salt/ pepper to taste.

5. Wait for the above cooked ingredients to cool a little
6.      Then wrap them in the flour dumpling wraps
7.   Place 1 portion of filling in the center of each wrapper and fold the dough over it, making a bonnet-shaped pouch.
8.      Pinch the edges together to seal the dumpling. Repeat until all the dough and filling are used.
9.      Bring some  water to a boil over high heat, (Boil a big pot of hot water) place dumpings into the pot for about 10-15 minutes till cooked
10.   Stir them around gently with a ladel, and let the water return to a boil.
11.    Add enough cold water to stop the boiling, then bring back to a boil.
12.   When the water boils again, add more cold water and bring to a boil a third time.
13.   The dumplings will be done when they float to the surface.

老師手中有十個紅包,紅包內有數字1-10,但沒有5請學生猜數字比5大還是比5小
"Is the number more than 5 or less than 5?"

原本獲勝隊伍是可多吃一顆水餃的~~
但看到大家狼吞虎嚥的模樣很難計算的啦!!

當天的水餃真得很好吃,雖然每個形狀都長得不一樣不過吃起來皮薄餡肉和高麗菜還脆脆的,口感一級棒,
聽Flora說這是他們漢威的主廚特調秘方;吃完水餃後當然就是"Story Time"
